Screen Soft Light ("we", "us", "our") operates softlight.tools. This page explains how we collect, use and protect information when you use our website and lighting tool.
Information We Collect
Screen Soft Light is a client-side web application. We do not require account registration, and we do not collect personal information such as names, email addresses or payment details.
The tool stores your preferences (brightness, temperature, favorites) in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site. GA4 collects anonymized usage data including pages visited, time on page, device type and approximate geographic location. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish unique visitors. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Advertising
This site is supported by advertising. We work with Mediavine, an advertising partner that serves ads on our pages. Mediavine and its advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers and similar technologies to measure ad performance and, where permitted, to show you more relevant ads.

If you are in a region covered by the GDPR, UK GDPR or similar consent laws, a consent banner lets you accept or reject personalised advertising, and you can change your choice at any time from the privacy link in that banner. - Mediavine — advertising delivery, measurement and consent management
- Google Fonts — web fonts (Bodoni Moda, DM Sans, JetBrains Mono)
- Cloudflare Pages — website hosting and CDN

Data Retention
We do not store any personal data on our servers. Analytics data is retained by Google, and advertising data by Mediavine and its partners, according to their standard retention policies. Local storage data on your device persists until you clear your browser data.
Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
